PLC Recruitment Information

In Fall 2023 each national partner association will select 150 arts educators to serve as members of their Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). If you’d like to receive notification when the application opens, complete this form with your name, art discipline, and contact information.

The application for National CAN PLC participants will open in September 2023.

Timeline and Commitment

• Mid-September 2023: Applications go live
• Late October 2023: Application deadline
• Late November 2023: Arts educators are selected
• Mid-December 2023: Onboarding process
• January 2024:
  • CAN Orientation for new arts educators
  • Monthly PLC Meetings, 2 hours in the evening, dates will be set by PLCs
  • Four Quarterly Workshops annually led by content specialists
